Dharma Initiative Countdown Clock-Yahoo Widget

Thursday, May 4th, 2006

This Widget was inspired by the “Dharma Initiative” computer on the hit TV-show, Lost. Now all you Lost fans can truly experience that “trapped in hatch” feeling.

Enter the numbers “4 8 15 16 23 42″ into the computer every 108 minutes, or else…
Note: The computer will only accept the above numbers when there are 4 minutes or less remaining.

This is an Yahoo Widgets Widget resembling
the Dharma Initiative Countdown clock in the show.

This widget allows you to really experience the countdown clock.
The clock flips with the same sound as it does in the show
you also get the similar alarm when the clock is at 4 minutes
you actually need to input the numbers which will appear on
the screen as you type and click the execute button provided
within this widget.

A must for all the lost fans.

The Yahoo Widget software is needed for this widget
a free software the links for which have been provided below.

Interesting Observation about Joop from hanso foundation website

Joop the Orangutans 105th birthday

The Hanso Foundation Life-Extension Project celebrated a milestone in the 105th birthday of experimental subject 626. Experimental subject 626, known to Hanso Life Extension project researchers as Joop, is an orangutan originally harvested by British explorers in the early 1900s

From theansofoundation.org

Interestingly the age of Joop the Orangutan is 105. Lost is currently in Season 2 finale and what most think is gonna be possibly 5 season long. By which Joop would be 108. Hmmm…. Interesting we say! The numbers are again - Sum of the 4 8 15 16 23 42.

The Lost Experience begins

Wednesday, May 3rd, 2006

First leg of the Lost experience has begin starting from today by the introduction of Handso Foundation ads as seen in UK about an all new website for the oh-so mysterious firm The Hanso Foundation

There is a press release floating on the internet with no official source. Probably its one of those few things done by producers to mislead people! The Press News letter section on the new Hanso Foundation website asks for a password! Strange noise like the one when the times counts down to zero, The text goes blurr and jerks, asking you for the password. Quite Strange right? Check it out for yourself from the Newsletter (Signup) Section. Searching for the password? The password from the UK commercial is ‘breakingstrain’ without the quotes. This will connect you to Persephone and log you onto Dharma System. Check out the pic below

This is Just about it for the whole Online Lost Experience for the time bieng. Hit back later or subscribe to the Rss feeds to be inforumed as and when we get this updated.

Namaste!

Download the Dharma Initiative Countdown Clock!

Tuesday, May 2nd, 2006
Lost fans watchout! Want to see what it’s like to input the numbers ever 108 minutes? Download the Dharma Initiative Countdown Clock for Windows and try it for yourself! Kalrac wrote this program that simulates the clock of The Swan. Every 108 minutes, the user has to input the correct restart code. Get it right, and the world is safe for another 108 minutes. Fail to input to the code and… well, it’s up to you to try it out. The program needs the .Net Framework to run. Most Windows XP machines should have that. If not, it can be downloaded here from Microsoft.

Download the Dharma Initiative Countdown Clock for Windows.

You must be a real lost geek to check this out. If you are really willing to check out what happens after 108 minutes, try the program thats all we can say. Yes you literally have to wait the 108 minutes via this program even though its a computer simulation. Check out a screenshot of the proggie as seen below:

Wow, Interestingly the timer screenshot was taken at 62 mintes! 6+2=8, one of the lost numbers. I guess the numbers are everywhere.
